my understanding...

to be a legend, to make success almost inevitable, to sustain your passion at the highest level, you want total immersion:

• choose your one thing, what you want more than anything else, could be a goal, career, artform, way of life, etc.
• sacrifice everything secondary to that one thing
• there is no room for anything else
• totally lopsided approach to life, embrace being unbalanced
• every action has to support that one thing or it's out

my one thing right now is to keep experimenting and sharing art.
